As well as the Equinox yesterday (23rd September 2015) we have two planet changes tomorrow, 25th, and we are building to the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse on Monday 28th. The heaviness could be down to Pluto virtually at a standstill, getting ready to go direct. It is the slowest moving of all the planets so it will take a few days to pick up again. It went retrograde on 17th April and will not reach that point again until next year!
With the forward motion we can begin to put into action the changes that have been evolving since April. We have had the opportunity to face our shadow and dive below the surface of our emotional veneers. What lies beneath? What have you seen, what discoveries have you made? Within the depth of our despair, at our lowest ebb and with all our layers removed, we find the gift of our true essence, our Soul treasures.
Pluto represents death and rebirth, and we have to allow ourselves to go through Soul scouring to be born again, to be the phoenix, rising from the ashes. As eternal Souls we choose an incarnation on Earth for its diversity and contrast. Within spirit, our true home, there is no contrast, just pure Source energy, pure love. Through the contrasts, the challenges of a human life, the black and the white, we can face ourselves and evolve.
We all have these challenges, these opportunities for Soul and spiritual growth and it is up to us how we react. As we grow, we become more adept at handling difficulties and more able to see the gift in them. We recognise that it is our own patterns, that things are being mirrored back to us and we can choose how we react. Being on a spiritual path is often misinterpreted as needing to be positive all the time, to avoid negative people and situations. It is true that as we grow and lighten our load we raise our vibration and the higher our vibration, the less we are affected by lower ones. We will attract less negative energies to us. But, it does not make us exempt!! We will still face challenges as long as we are in a human body. We are still working on ourselves and continuing to grow spiritually.
Now, as Pluto goes direct, we can move forward. Our old feathers have been replaced with new growth, ready for our phoenix-like rebirth and the next stage of our journey. Saturn recently went into Sagittarius, having spent the previous 3 years in Scorpio. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto so this transit of Saturn has brought a lot of the smelly stuff to the surface for a lot of people; deep hurts and emotions and deeply buried patterns that were begging to be cleared. Saturn also made a series of aspects with Uranus that shook the foundations of our previously stable world. Having already gone through all this, many of us have had huge transformations in our inner and outer worlds and feel we have completed a lot of clearing. So there is now a cry of, What more of that? I thought I had dealt with that! Or, How much more do I have to do? Why do we feel we are going through one crisis after another, that we have been through the emotional wringer and surely there is nothing left?
There are many articles you can read about the evolution of the planet and of light workers being called to help mankind and the planet. Part of this, I believe, is this deep Soul scouring that we have been experiencing. It is part of the preparation, to make us as clear channels as we can be to serve as best we can. Old karmic patterns need to be cleared to be more of our true Soul essence, more of our authentic self. This will raise our vibration to a level where can better access Source energy and help others. There is a sense of a fast track going on, of a push to get this done, although we are not party to the time scale!
Pluto spends roughly half the year retrograde so this is a regular cycle and one that we are rarely aware of because of its length. As with many things, it is later, when we look back, that we see our evolution, the changes that have occurred and how far we have come. Maybe we can use this perspective to encourage us to keep going forward. If we look back and see how far we have come, of how we have risen from the ashes many times before to be who we are now, that will encourage us to wade through more difficult times to reach an even better future.
